Some time ago I realized that I had lived in my house for more than a year and I had not put up a single photo on the wall. It was partly because I never got round to it and also because I wasn’t decided on what color of frames I would want. So I browsed through thousands of pictures on the internet until I knew what I wanted.

I wanted yellow picture frames because that was my new favorite color. I went over to Game stores and began my scouting. They had the frames I wanted, just not in the color I wanted. So I decided to buy them anyway and then paint them yellow. And to my surprise, it was a success.

Before paint

After paint

WHAT I BOUGHT:

  • 2 white wooden Picture Frames
  • Sand paper (medium grain)
  • Grey primer spray
  • Yellow Spray paint (or whatever color you want)

The right mattress can make all the difference, even protecting your skeletal system from painful dysfunctions that might make order cialis online http://cute-n-tiny.com/tag/bunnies/ you cranky in addition to sore. WHAT I DID:

1. First I put everything out on the porch or veranda as we call it

2. I sanded the picture frames

3. I lay down the newspapers and covered the glass part of the frame

4. Then I sprayed the grey primer on the frames and wait for 15 minutes

5. I sprayed the first coat of the spray paint. Waited for 30 minutes, sanded the frame then sprayed another coat. Waited another 30 minutes then sprayed another coat. This was enough for me but if you’re not satisfied, you can spray an extra coat.

6. I let it dry for 24 hours and then the frames were ready to be put up on the wall.

A FEW TIPS THOUGH:

1. Do this in an airy open place

2. You might want to wear a small protective mask over your nose if you are sensitive to smells

3. Wooden frames are easier to paint so you might want to buy those

4. Just make sure to hold the spray can 25 cm away from what you’re painting.

5. This project is best done when binge watching a TV show. Because you can handle the different stages in-between episodes.

It was so much easier than I thought it would be. The feeling of putting up something that I customized on my own was awesome. It made me feel I could do anything. So now onto my new project…. once I figure out what it is.
