It’s been 2 weeks since I joined the Get Fit Campaign. 2 week of extreme workout. 2 weeks of trying to eat healthy. It’s been great, it’s been painful, but most of all it’s been challenging. It is teaching me commitment to working out, consistency in my eating patterns, and persistance even when it hurts.

The first week was particularly hard because I was coming out of years of a docile lifestyle. The transition was difficult and I struggled to keep going. The second week was better. My body has stopped aching as much as it did before. I’m starting to feel the effects of the Work Outs. My energy levels have slightly increased.

I haven’t had junk food in a while now. And the craving is gone…(almost gone). I broke my addiction to coca-cola a few months ago and I’m sticking to my “carbonated-drink-free” plan. It is a natural tonic and promotes viagra purchase online sound sleep. I’m trying to eat healthy though I’m learning as I go. I have struggled to reduce my portions because I have had a “leave-your-plate-clean” policy all my life. But I’m getting there.

I know it sounds tedious, but I’m starting to love this journey. I’m extra motivated now. I’m looking forward to a time when all this will be effortless and second nature. I am setting targets and I can see myself reaching them.

This morning I weighed myself just to see if a couple of weeks of exercise and good food would show in the numbers. I have lost 1.5 kilos since the last time I weighed myself 2 weeks ago (woop woop!). I don’t look any different but I feel so much better.

Living a fit life is totally worth it. I have had friends come up and say “but you are not fat, you look good just the way you are..” I’m done listening to them. This time I’m only listening to the numbers and my body. My body will let me know when it has reached its limit.  And as I said before, I’m doing this because I want to be radiant when I’m 60.

Here’s to a healthier and fitter life!
